In recent days James Dolan, owner of the New York Knicks basketball team, and Al Franken, U.S. senator, have accused Charles Oakley and Donald Trump of mental illness. And yet one wonders if any mental health professional would stand up and state publicly that Dolan and Franken are themselves “mentally healthy.” And furthermore it’s worth considering how the actions of Messrs. Dolan and Frankin have over the years contributed to conditions in society that need modifying.
