“Dance Because You Can”

VictoryDanceProject-JordanVictoryDanceProject-RobinsonJordanOn a night that saw another New York City pedestrian struck and critically injured by an MTA bus, Amy Jordan, hit by a New York City bus “six years and thirty-two days ago,” lead her dance troupe, The Victory Dance Project, in an inspiring performance: “People, Power & Possibility” — where the impossible becomes possible with the “power of movement.”

The evening included Renee Robinson, formerly of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, receiving the First Annual Artist for Peace Award.
